Where I've been . . .

Hello Friends!

Not sure if anyone has noticed or even cares, but I've not been around for quite some now. For as fun as posting, reading comments, and getting caught up in the fun and hype of having a blog aside from my family journal one it's just not something that fits in my life right now.

You see, I'm pregnant with our 5th child (super excited) and for 6 weeks (Oct-Nov) I was on the couch not hardly even able to take care of myself let alone my family and home. All crafting, cooking, and money saving ceased during that time. Now all is well, but during those 6 weeks I realized that the blogging for fun (or hopeful money making) just wasn't going to to be happening anymore.

My little family is what matters most, not taking pictures of each step of our daily activities, cooking adventures and crafts we make. There are plenty of blogs out there to show you to save money, cook good food, and make cute crafty things and I'm going to let you enjoy their talents and expertise (there are some mighty fine blogs out there)!!

So my friends it has been fun and I'm glad I've archived some of my ideas, but for now (or forever?) this is goodbye! I'm trying to focus on the BEST in my life and letting the better and good things take a backseat - see blog post below for a great article!!

I hope all is well with you and yours and thanks so much for ever taking a chance on me and my blog!

*I'm thinking I will only have this blog open and public for about a month or two more and then I'll make it into a book and close it down.*

  1. Well thanks for the fun ideas you posted here, Daisha. I definitely think you are making a wise decision that you won't regret. ;)

Congrats on the baby! And Cole's upcoming graduation. You guys made it!!! What an exciting time for your family. Hopefully the sickness has passed and you are ready to enjoy it more.

    Take care!

  3. Girl, I love your blog but I totally understand! We only have a limited amount of time and family comes first! Good, better and best right? :)

(I'd better hurry and save your fun ideas before you close it!)

  4. Best wishes for for you and your family! Thank you so much for the ideas that you put out here! I can't imagine the amount of time you invested in your blog. Mine is very simple, but it still takes a lot of time. I don't think people who don't blog understand the time you/we invest.

  5. Hi!! I was doing the same thing, about the same time--we just had our 5th little one (second girl) last month. I'd be interested in hearing from you, seeing as we have a few things in common and I think it is neat that I found your blog (looking for caramel dip for apples, I think)
