Free Family Movies

Taking our kids to a movie at the theater happens about a once a year in our family. It can get expensive. So when summer rolls along my kids get very excited about the FREE Summer Film Festival  by Regal.

At 10:00am, every Tuesday and Wednesday, Regal shows a G and PG movie for Free!  It's a great way to get out of the heat. Check their website for the participating theaters in your area.

My Tips:
1. With 4 kids, 7 and younger, I find that meeting up with friends is the best way to tackle the theater experience. That way if one of you has to take out a crying baby you have someone to keep an eye on your other children.
2. Get there early. The theaters are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Depending on your area the theater can fill up fast since there are only 2 movies shown each day.

This week we're going to see 'Horton Hears a Who.' Are you planning to see a movie this week?!

  2. We always made these our children's first movies. It always took the pressure off that it was free so we could leave if they hated the experience and that it was all kids so their talking or wiggles didn't bother anyone.

And thanks for stopping by my blog!
